One is an exorcist from Hell: greedy and fond of petty bargains, powerful, and carrying a soul-catching bell given to him by King Yama. He's occasionally a little improper and likes to play pranks. His duty is to bring resentful spirits and ghosts who cling to the human world back to the underworld.
The other attained Buddhahood: He was deeply beloved by people while alive. By chance, he met the exorcist and attained Buddhahood. Because he often helped the dead move on when he was alive, the Buddha sent him to the human world to guide wronged spirits to the afterlife. He possesses immeasurable magic and a set of prayer beads as his magical weapon. Each of the twelve beads has a different power. Since he ate vegetarian food and prayed to the Buddha throughout his life, he never got to enjoy spending money, so now he spends lavishly. He's the secretly passionate type.
The two set off together, crossing a thousand years and encountering demons, monsters, unusual people and happenings, love, hate, and more...
One has emotional intelligence but no brains, while the other has brains but no emotional intelligence. Together, they bring out the best in each other, a powerful duo. The only people who can hurt them are each other: neither can bear to see the other injured. And so the story of an exorcist and a young monk begins!!!
After three lifetimes of entanglement, who can't let go of whom? They'll shake heaven and earth just to stay together.
Theme: Once you've truly understood, there's nothing you can't let go of. If all else fails, let yourself go wild and vent. A handsome exorcist is waiting to welcome you.
