[Coming next: [British TV Series Crossover] Angel Civil Servant, where an archangel and Mycroft take British politics by storm]
[Coming soon: The Main God Stealing a Bride Is a Passive Skill [Indian Mythology], Oh no, Krishna's here to steal another bride!]
Novel blurb:
Q: What's it like to be partners with Sherlock Holmes?
Dr. John H. Watson has a lot to say.
Another question: What's it like to be Sherlock Holmes's opponent?
Professor James Moriarty also has a lot to say.
BUT!
The person who's both a wartime ally and a fated adversary is probably the only one in all of Britain who could be
Young Master Bertie, making his grand entrance!
Bertie would never admit that the reason he got on their radar was because he:
Stole a Scotland Yard inspector's hat!
Talked big to Dr. Watson!
Broke into Mycroft's bedroom to steal something!
Secretly planted explosives in the Houses of Parliament!
Got into a fistfight with British government agents!
For God's sake, he's just a sweet, clueless aristocratic young man who was forced by his aunt to go on a blind date, by his other aunt to climb a wall, by his pals to infiltrate a cult (?), and by his ex-fiancées to flee aboard a ship bound for the New World, only to encounter an ancient god awakening at sea (???).
“What does Mr. Holmes mean by calling me a ‘cunning, sly, wicked, treacherous cult leader’? Is he praising your beloved master's cleverness and insight?”
“Yes, sir,” the young master's valet replied with a smile.
The duties of a top-tier valet: manage the young master's wardrobe; find ways to destroy every tie, shirt, suit, evening dress, hat, sock, shoe cover, handkerchief, and vase he dislikes; break off the young master's engagements; help him with any problem; but spread rumors everywhere that he's not right in the head, so he'll realize he can never live without you (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
This story is also known as: Sherlock Holmes Is Suspicious of Me Again Today, Sherlock Holmes Keeps Trying to Send Me to Prison, and My Young Master Isn't a Criminal, He's Just an Idiot
Pairings: A gentleman's personal gentleman × young master, Holmes/Watson

[Here's the blurb for my next story~~]
As an angel who snuck out of Heaven, Indira is neither the first nor the last.
The problem is, while other angels at least check the job listings before coming down to earth, she blundered straight into an MI6 recruitment drive.
But can you blame her?
Desperate for a legal identity that would let her breathe in the human world, she applied for a publicly advertised job at a university. Isn't that standard procedure for a foolish college student?
And so, one day, a certain walking embodiment of the British government happened to be filling in as an HR representative at the intelligence department, where he received the most absurd interview answer in the history of British intelligence.
The strange blonde woman had a mysterious identity. Following the principle of “playing the long game to catch the big fish,” the British government very “casually” placed her in the Cabinet Secretary's office as an APS (Assistant Private Secretary).
It sounded like the perfect job for taking the blame.
Even more absurdly, Indira's crystal-clear stupidity and utterly unfeigned sincerity proved to be exactly to Sir Humphrey's taste. From then on, she flourished in the Cabinet Office.
A certain British government official: “That suspicious spy we planted beside the minister, has she caused any trouble?”
MI5 agent: “Urgent report! The Cabinet Office people have all been made lords and ministers!”
A certain British government official: ?
Bernard, the private secretary, thought: There's something strange about this new assistant secretary.
At a diplomatic meeting where alcohol was explicitly banned, everyone's juice gradually turned into wine. The administrative budget was slashed so drastically that the cook was fired, yet somehow one flatbread managed to feed all of Number 10 Downing Street.
One day, aliens invaded, and the prime minister was called upon to negotiate with their leader in the midst of a crisis.
Prime Minister: ? Where the hell am I? Is this still Earth?
Indira: Don't worry, Prime Minister. These aliens were all created by my colleagues. I'll make sure you can retire in comfort in the Shadow Cabinet one day. Crowley! Get to work! Huh? Why have you changed your look?
A certain Time Lord just passing by: ?
Reader's guide:
1. Pairing: Mycroft.
2. If the original has a BL pairing, this story will too (the unspeakable couple), but there won't be any romance scenes, and their relationship won't be explored separately.
Theme: A heart of gold.
Could it be that Chen Dinglong in the dream was Giforth pretending to be?
I subconsciously thought the gang leader was a male, but found out it was a female. When my Adam's apple was revealed, it turned out to be a male. I was so misled by the lie [laughing and crying] So does the gang leader really like Bertie?
I feel like trouble is coming again (wiping sweat)
When will the young master's love progress? [Crying] [Crying] [Crying]
Ah? What happened
Actually, marrying a wife is not necessary to inherit a title, it's just that Aunt Agatha wants Bertie to get married. So if Bertie pretends to like a man of a different class like Uncle George, will Aunt Agatha allow him to not marry as long as he doesn't marry that person? (Assuming Bertie has the guts to do it)
This Chen Dinglong is Giffords, right?
