Shocking! The Marquis's Eldest Daughter Insists on Becoming a Coroner

Gu Ningzhu had just graduated and was ready to make her mark in forensic medicine when she transmigrated to ancient times.

The good news: she had become the eldest daughter of a marquis's household, with every luxury at her disposal.

The bad news: she had to embroider! She had to marry! And the man she was supposed to marry already had two concubines!

Gu Ningzhu had no interest in being a principal wife, much less wasting her professional expertise.

During a meal, her father's concubine came crying and complained that one of her mother's maids had hit her.

Gu Ningzhu put down her chopsticks. "Those scratches on your face don't look right. The marks on your neck are hickeys, deliberately rubbed to make them look like injuries! Cheap Dad, someone's putting horns on you."

After a trip to the palace, the emperor took a fancy to Gu Ningzhu. Looking at his lecherous eyes, she said, "You're wearing a human-skin mask. You're a fake emperor!"

When the real emperor was rescued, he looked at Gu Ningzhu gratefully. "What do you want? I can give you anything!"

The entire court thought Gu Ningzhu would enter the palace, but she said, "I want to be a coroner!"

Astonishing! The marquis's eldest daughter insists on becoming a coroner?

A year later, foreign envoys came to pay their respects. A member of a royal family beat someone in the street and then tried to get away with it.

The shopkeeper next door shouted angrily, "You dare come to Great Yu and hit someone? Don't you know our empress is a coroner, and has trained plenty of top-notch coroners? Any one of them could expose you!"

The foreign royal asked, "The empress can be a coroner? Great Yu is so progressive!"

The shopkeeper said, "It's not that the coroner became empress! Our Empress Gu became empress! She's no ordinary person!"
