Lately, the ghosts have been quite troubled.
The infinite-flow genre has been around for decades, and every formula has been used up. Players fear nothing. They can guess how a dungeon ends as soon as it appears.
That is, until they came across Yun Luo's ghost stories.
They were so bizarrely terrible that they bordered on the abstract. Every turn went against people's expectations.
So the ghosts copied her, using her stories as a model for their own dungeons.
Yun Luo's ghost stories were awful, and people often attacked her: "I can't tell if you're being absurd on purpose or if you're actually an idiot."
She had always felt deeply inferior because of it.
But lately, she had found herself with a huge number of fans, who encouraged her every few days.
Every now and then, she'd get an invitation asking her to visit some haunted house and offer guidance. From time to time, a group of people with no shadows would call out to her, saying she was their idol.
Yun Luo: Touched.
And that wasn't all. People around her would often look at her as if they wanted to say something but couldn't. Even the online trolls who had called her an idiot suddenly changed their tune: "You truly are unfathomable."
After the latest game update, Yun Luo's name started trending.
The first thing she saw when she was pulled into the infinite-flow world was a red banner welcoming her teacher and asking her to provide guidance.
This should be a comedy-horror story about a beloved, universally adored protagonist, set in a cyberpunk infinite-flow world where people keep competing even after death (?).
