The extraterrestrial organism's answer is to pretend to cooperate with her, then use her as a stepping stone.

But Qiu Yu is far too clever and capable. When she pins him down and stabs him, he gazes up at her, willing to become her stepping stone.

Qiu Yu, adopted daughter of the captain of the Fifth Starship and leader of White Star's Seventh Exploration Team, uses a sweet, graceful disguise to answer that question.

But when she sees her former fiancé, now parasitized because of her, and is forced to reveal her rebellious, unyielding side and extraordinary fighting ability, what should she do?

What she never expected was that after she revealed herself,

the First Exploration Team's captain, once her sworn enemy, would awkwardly express his respect for her;

the alliance's founder, who had been wary and testing her, would reveal the truth and guide her forward;

and even the parasitic organism that had once traded stabs with her would merge its blood with hers when she found herself in danger.

The transparent creature moved toward the wound on Qiu Yu's body and tentatively said, "I want to parasitize you."

Early on, they're enemies on a collision course: a resilient, rebellious heroine x a cold, ruthless hero;

Later, they're lovers who support each other: a scheming, guiding heroine x a clueless, puppy-like hero.
