A Beautiful Beta

*

The one who outshone the many top Alpha students at the Empire's First Military Academy and took first place at the freshman reception with sheer talent was a young Beta from a desolate planet, nothing like people's stereotypical image of one:

He was impossibly beautiful.

His name was Pei Zhi.

*

Top score in the entrance exam.

Perfect marks in every theory subject.

Even his combat score crushed those of a crowd of top Alpha students...!

"He's a Bata, so what does that make me? A paramecium that failed to differentiate?"

"He's so gorgeous. Are you sure he's not an Omega?"

"Pei Zhi is the best!! Our Empire's First Military Academy is the greatest!!"

No one knew that this stunning Beta, the center of everyone's attention, had been ambushed by an Alpha teammate who suddenly went into rut after they won the military academy league...

"A-Zhi, I feel awful..." xx sniffed over and over at Pei Zhi's neck, but couldn't find the pheromones that could soothe him. His violent emotions spiraled out of control, and agitation and unease swept through him.

Nothing. Why was there nothing...?!

"I've been so good, A-Zhi... A-Zhi... You can't treat me like this..." The tall, top-tier Alpha radiated a savage aura, yet only buried his face deep against Pei Zhi's chest, trying to find the familiar scent that was nearly impossible to smell beneath his fair skin.

*AB romance, everyone's-favorite Beta receiving lead x Alpha attacking lead who can't smell his wife's pheromones and goes berserk indiscriminately every day
