An ensemble story! No real-life inspirations!
Xiuming is an extraterrestrial being whose spacecraft was forced to land on Earth when it ran low on energy during its journey through space.
Through a misunderstanding, he joins the first season of the idol training show Starlight Unlimited, and unexpectedly becomes a sensation!
He only meant to get enough energy to leave, but his popularity skyrockets, bringing him closer and closer to the coveted center position!
He can get energy from human emotions, so running away is out of the question!
But he still has to worry about his identity being exposed and getting dragged off for research...
And so he presses on, caught between the difficult choices of debuting and fleeing, until he becomes the most beloved and brightest darling on Starlight Island.
Teammate A: “I admit it. Xiuming can do anything. He’s already surpassed the limits of humanity.”
Xiuming: [Guiltily] “I’m not! I didn’t! Don’t make things up!”
Teammate B: “Actually, there’s a secret I have to tell you all. Extraterrestrials really do exist in this world...”
Xiuming: [Covering his mouth] “Have you memorized the lyrics? Have you learned the choreography? Have you beaten the game?”
Teammate C: “Xiuming is the cutest person in the world! I’ll be his one-pick for ten thousand years!”
Xiuming? The audience? The other teammates?
But as they prepare to debut as a group, they have no idea that beings from another distant star system have already marked this place as their next resource to plunder.
Come on, Earth is my home. No one gets to lay a hand on it!
Xiuming: Right now, I just want to debut as center!
And so begins the story of an innocent, adorable extraterrestrial who becomes an idol and saves Earth.
