The Scum Top and the Shameless Bottom Both Call Me Dad

Ming Zexian, unmarried, childless, and never once in a relationship, woke up to find himself transmigrated into a BL novel he'd been reading before bed.

Aside from all the expected bitter love and melodramatic romance, this novel was especially full of two species: scum tops and slutty bottoms. And, as luck would have it, he'd transmigrated into the role of both the scum top's and the slutty bottom's

biological father.

In the original novel, after the scum top and slutty bottom's father failed at a business venture, he left his family saddled with enormous debts. He started smoking and drinking heavily, and even resorted to beating his family. With nowhere else to turn, the slutty bottom had no choice but to sell himself to the wealthy protagonist top, a man with a serious personality flaw. The bottom was then subjected to the scum top's humiliation and abuse until he finally ran away while pregnant. The story ended with the bottom dying from severe bleeding during a difficult childbirth. The protagonist top got everything he wanted except love, and spent the rest of his life consumed by regret.

His scum top son, meanwhile, swindled a lovestruck rich heiress he met in college out of her money and virtue. After taking everything from her, he ran off with the cash. The heiress's family then retaliated viciously, and at the end of the story, the scum top died suddenly under the immense pressure. A textbook case of a gold-digging country boy getting his comeuppance.

Ming Zexian (breathing through an oxygen mask): "…Give me the script. I want a do-over!"

But whatever happened later in the story

None of it was something Ming Zexian, who'd just transmigrated and been beaten half to death by debt collectors, needed to think about right now!

He touched the still-bleeding wound on his head and nearly died of fright on the spot. He immediately called 120:

"I think there's still time to save me!"

After being hospitalized, Ming Zexian's already meager wallet was stretched even thinner. The slutty bottom gazed at the scum dad in his hospital bed with tears in his eyes and said through sobs:

"Dad, maybe I should just sell, "

Ming Zexian slapped his thigh and cut him off. "Sell what? The top and the bottom are both men. You have plenty of strength to earn money. Both of you are going to the docks to haul sacks!"

He worked while raising and educating the two boys, who'd already gone astray, struggling to bring them up. In the process, he unwittingly discovered that both sons had a talent for investing in stocks, sales, and business. They made more and more money, until before Ming Zexian knew it, he'd won without lifting a finger and become a self-made rich man thanks to his sons.

The scum top, who wanted to buy the protagonist bottom for a million: "??"

The protagonist top's parents, ready to offer the protagonist bottom two million to leave their son: "???"

The rich heiress's parents, who thought their daughter had fallen for a gold-digging country boy: "????"

Wait, wasn't this supposed to be a melodramatic story about a scum top and a slutty bottom?! How did it turn into an inspirational tale about them joining forces to build a business?!

Looking at his two sons, now grown into fine young men and free from their original fates, Ming Zexian felt nothing but relief and pride.

He thought he'd already changed the story's original ending, and, having done his part, planned to retire early with the money his sons had earned. But on the day he was about to leave, the devoted second male lead, who should have been orbiting the little white flower bottom, suddenly appeared at the airport. He grabbed Ming Zexian's hand and wouldn't let go, his cold, striking face full of pleading:

"Uncle, don't go…Don't you want me anymore?"

Ming Zexian: "? What's wrong with you?"

Only later did Ming Zexian learn that the devoted second male lead from the original novel had been hanging around his bargain-bin son for one reason from the very beginning: him.

His bargain-bin son, smiling: Heh. So I was just one part of my pursuer's role-play with my biological father. :)
