Seven Meters Apart

I stand seven meters behind you, watching you laugh so carefreely and happily. It's not mockery, it's relief. At last, for once, I turned away and let go before you did. For the first time, and the last, we said goodbye. From then on, though only seven meters apart, we were worlds away: parallel lines that would never meet again, heading in opposite directions, no longer caring for or hurting each other... Dedicated to the friendship that was once etched into my heart. Theme:
