I'm an utterly ordinary male high school student.
Aside from being inexplicably unpopular and having no friends, there's nothing special about me.
One day, after transferring schools, I awkwardly made my way to a masquerade ball I wasn't keen on, trying to make friends.
Then I passed a subway station and got sucked inside. Unable to get out, I was forced to watch a conversation between three things that didn't look human, a guy with a topknot, and a handsome white-haired man.
Yikes... Where did he get that hair dyed such a pure, glossy white?
Then they started fighting, but it was a one-sided beatdown. The monsters were losing, and they looked absolutely terrified.
I didn't even know what to say. It still hadn't quite sunk in that this world had supernatural powers, or that it actually had people who protected the public in the name of justice, as well as monsters who played the villains.
“Ding.” I saw the train arrive and blinked. A monster's claw was just two centimeters from me, nearly poking my eyeball out. Before my brain could even catch up, I realized it had stopped moving, along with everyone around me.
It was like everyone was putting on an act for me. The monsters and the humans alike, none of them moved.
The fear hit me late, and only then did I realize I'd just started breathing again. I was going to die. I could even see that the person beside me was missing half their body. I knew this with absolute clarity.
My mind in a panic, I covered my mouth and stumbled a step backward. Maybe that step stood out like a crane among chickens, because when I looked up again, the handsome white-haired man was staring at me in shock.
I was even more shocked. How had you gotten trapped while I wasn't looking?
A man in flowing robes nearby watched me with a grave expression. Then, as if he'd thought of something, he started laughing wildly and said, “Good heavens, a jujutsu sorcerer! A newly awakened jujutsu sorcerer with powerful cursed energy, able to ignore your Domain. At this age, he might even be your future student!”
“Too bad...”
I had no idea what he was talking about, but I started to feel that something was wrong.
The handsome white-haired man's expression turned furious. He said something to me, his voice full of urgency.
But I couldn't make out what he was saying anymore, because my vision was plummeting rapidly.
“Too bad. He's going to die here today.”
Ah. I saw blood spray across the sky... Reflected in his blue eyes was my corpse.
*This synopsis picks up where Chapter One leaves off, but from a different perspective.
*Features scenes of the world being wiped out. A work of unrestrained imagination.
*The protagonist is beautiful and powerful.
Theme: Don't become the person others expect you to be.
The copywriting is quite good and very attractive to me.
