Ushino is a public school in western Tokyo. In a region crowded with baseball powerhouses, it has little chance of making a name for itself.
Four years ago, the genius pitcher Uchi Tenma burst onto the scene. Under Coach Ukai, known for raising crows, the unheralded Ushino defeated a string of powerhouses and reached Koshien for the first time, only to be eliminated in the round of 32.
After that, Ushino fell into decline, like a flower that bloomed only briefly.
A new wave of talent is about to join the team. The boys have all rekindled the ambitions buried in their hearts, and are setting their sights on Koshien!
