After Taking the Young Master's Identity

Ten years ago, Ning suffered a severe drought. The heir to the Prince of Ning's title went to the capital, Qiuyang, as a hostage to beg for grain.

Ten years later, on the eve of the Prince of Ning's rebellion, he sent a delegation south under the pretext of offering birthday wishes to the emperor.

The delegation was ambushed on the road, and over a hundred people were killed.

Ning Liu, the adopted daughter of the prince's consort, whose life had once been saved by the heir, took advantage of the chaos to assume the identity of Cui Tianxing, the delegation's leader, and went to Qiuyang.

From then on, Ning Liu became embroiled in the struggle for the throne and the chaos engulfing the realm, and made a name for herself under Cui Tianxing's name.

Scene One: While helping the eldest princess investigate a counterfeit silver case, Ning Liu chases the leader of the Hall of All Under Heaven through an alley.

When she corners him against a high wall, Hall Master Meng raises both hands.

Ning Liu cautiously uses her long sword to knock away his black leopard mask. The face of someone who should have been dead appears before her.

"You're alive?"

"Liu'er, does my identity still suit you?"

Scene Two: Facing Ning Liu, who is about to become a princess's consort, Cui Tianxing rushes back in a sorry state, his face deathly pale. "If I had been the one to save you back then, would we have become a loving couple?"

Wearing red for the first time, Ning Liu shakes her head without hesitation. "You're Cui Tianxing. You wouldn't have saved me."

The Great Xuan Dynasty, founded two hundred years ago, faces natural and man-made disasters alike. It is an age of calamity, with extraordinary figures rising like stars.
