Haijiao Village lies on the border, right beside the vast ocean. Its scenery is beautiful and its climate pleasant, making it a wonderful place for a vacation.
But legend has it that beyond the dense forest behind the village lies a desolate place from which no living thing ever returns. The locals refuse to talk about it.
Perhaps to mourn the souls who disappeared, or to warn people not to go there, someone erected a stone monument behind the village many years ago. It read: "A single thought determines life or death, good or evil. Do not look across the shore. Turn back, and you will find your way."
An Zhi silently read it to the end and scoffed. "I refuse to turn back."
She had barely stepped into the mud when, a moment later, she cried, "Ow!"
The man behind her sighed and held out his arm. "Listen, friend, why don't we go back, wash up, and get some sleep?"
An Zhi braced her hands on her thighs and stood up straight again, her gaze resolute. "It's fine. Let's go."
But the man hesitated. "Maybe we should wait until tomorrow, when it's light out? I'm a little scared."
"Huh?" An Zhi sighed regretfully, then immediately turned and ran. "You said it, okay?"
This is a story about a team exploring together: one person acts brave but is actually a coward, and the other acts cowardly but is actually brave.
Theme: Cherish your life
In fact, I wasn't that interested in this subject originally. Because of my timidity, I always deliberately avoided subjects related to suspense and human nature when reading novels. But I liked the author's writing style so much that I finally opened the book and read it in one sitting. It is hard to imagine that such a profound and heavy topic can be described in such a natural and plain language. Life is like a wilderness. I hope everyone can be safe and happy on this journey. Finally, I wish the author a smooth new year and be able to create more masterpieces!
It seems like it's just my personal feeling that everyone is praising. The plot before and after is a bit disconnected, Gao Kaiping walks, and the plot at the beginning is more attractive. It does feel like an introduction, or a prequel, as you mentioned. But congratulations on the ending, spread the flowers.
I didn't like the open-ended ending when I first read the text. I read a lot of novels during this period, and after reading a little bit, I felt dissatisfied, so I gave up on the novel. I read this novel after finishing the Big Kids trilogy. After finishing Big Kids, I felt that I really had no power to fight back against time. I am just a sophomore now. When I saw high school life again, I was very emotional at that time because I was rushing and I didn't really feel it. From the Big Kids trilogy, the depressive and happy high school time vaguely appeared in my mind. Because after reading Big Kids, I think zoody's novel is really healing. In addition, I have never read this type of novel before. I took the attitude of reading it. I didn't think this novel would bring me a big surprise. I didn't get into it at first, but then I slowly got into it. I thought it was really good.
Okay, let's spread the flowers~ I guessed that the team must be the first to make the move, hahahahaha, I'm laughing. Love this story so much! Every time I see an update, I feel so happy. When there is no update, I come in from time to time to read the previous chapters. I feel like I can't get enough of it, hahahaha. At first I felt it was a bit rushed, but after thinking about it carefully I realized that this is also good. Life is still long and there are many, many possibilities. Merry Christmas Eve! I hope everyone is safe and well!
The unexpected innocence attracted my eyes and footsteps to review the sixth level. . .
I feel so inexplicably sad when we are not together TT
"Happy New Year" "I like you"
I'm not a human being. I think the atmosphere between the two of them has reached a point where they can have sex together.
See you on November 8th in two years~
Quickly ask you why you forgot me. How could you forget me?
