Obsession (American Prep School/Hockey)

*A notable difference in their builds

*A principled, high-status man turns into a mad dog stealing someone else's girl

Because they share a close friend, Qingshu likes Derek a lot from the start.

He's the campus hockey star, talented and gentlemanly.

As the behind-the-scenes decision-maker for the fraternity, he's strict and fair, never playing favorites because of personal feelings.

Like most people, Qingshu respects and admires Derek.

Then one day, Qingshu accidentally discovers that, because of a misunderstanding, Derek has held a deep prejudice against her ever since they first met.

In his eyes, she's just a shameless woman using her looks to juggle two men and trying to seduce him for her own benefit.

If they weren't connected through a mutual friend, he wouldn't even have bothered to remember her name.

Thinking back on the time they spent together as "friends," Qingshu knows she never crossed a line. She never wanted to break up with her boyfriend, and she'd never had inappropriate feelings for Derek...

But she stays quiet so her boyfriend can get into the fraternity.

If Derek hates her, then she simply won't show up in front of him anymore.

Later, this arrogant man, who once looked down on her, lowers his head like a mad dog and lays his heart bare before her.

She doesn't want to break up with her boyfriend. He says that's fine, he doesn't need a title.

He only begs her to stop avoiding him and let him see her. Better yet, he hopes she'll let her gaze rest on him, even for a moment.
