BTS: A Dream That Lasted a Lifetime

This story has many painful moments along the way, but a happy ending. Read with care.

Whose life is captured by a carefree stroke of the pen?

"You're not a god..."

"But you have to admit that I created you."

"Just as you understand me, I can see right through you."

"But the power we hold in our hands is not equal."

"Let's find out who gets to write the ending of this story."

The above was a planned scene of over-the-top, self-important dialogue. In reality, the stories within the story and the dreams within dreams are all fantasies about An Xu He.

Growth-themed blurb:

Shining brilliantly high above the heavens: that's how a star is meant to be.

Even if I'm ill-tempered, even if I'm both insecure and conceited, even if I'm dull and arrogant, I'm still worthy of love.

Rumors can't shake me, and curses and insults only make me laugh, because the meaning of my existence was made clear long ago.

Romance blurb:

Back then, it was truly sweet: one kept testing the other, knowing exactly how they'd react; the other would still indulge them, even when they were impatient.

It really had that feeling of a will-they-won't-they phase.

So when did they gradually drift apart?

Was it when the former was caught up in the bustle and clamor of the world, or when the latter sank into the clear-eyed solitude of being alone?

Yes, and no. It was simply that as their feelings became clearer, one chose to flee while the other stayed behind, waiting.

In the eleventh year, their paths finally stopped crossing.

Congratulations, An Xu He.
