1. By a twist of fate, Chi Nan'an came to Chang Le's school to watch a singing competition.
They exchanged glances in the auditorium, surrounded by a crowd. One look, and it felt like a thousand years.
Chi Nan'an froze for a moment, unable to react.
Chang Le noticed his Adam's apple bob, and suddenly wanted to tease him.
Without paying any attention to the curious looks from the other students, she raised her right hand to cover her mouth.

2. That time Chang Le came down with a fever, and Chi Nan'an was so worried that he flew straight over.
Panting, he hurriedly pressed the elevator button. He was terrified something might happen to Chang Le.
He could remember for a long time even the casual things she said.
He remembered her saying that eating peaches helped, that her fevers were hard to shake, that her mother was busy and not at home today, and that her father was away on a business trip.
She only had him.

“Why?”
