[Pokemon] A Traveler's Conquest Guide

Not the original release. This is a reposted backup copy. Part One is complete. Part Two will update whenever I feel like it, and may not be updated at all.

A derivative work based on the game’s setting and world, with plenty of personal headcanon added.

Original regions and characters, but no original Pokemon. Characters from the original work will hardly appear, and Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon will generally not appear directly.

Official translations are used for special terms, though some chapters were written a while ago, so a few terms may not have been fully corrected.

I wrote this for my own enjoyment, so it may not be an easy read.

First-person narration.

"If you think of setting out on a journey as the start of a game, there could be various reasons for it, depending on the design. Maybe the moment you open the game, it tells you, “You’re the player. You have to go on a journey.” Or maybe the protagonist only takes up the sword in their hand after a long animated cutscene explains what came before. Either way, it’s all very common. In other words,

it doesn’t really matter how it happens.

Once you’ve embarked on a journey, all you can do is follow your heart and keep going. What matters isn’t how the game begins, but how you play it. I guess that’s what it comes down to."
