I've always loved Gu's writing style, and I've always admired Fei's prose. I wish I could have the best of both worlds. This story began as a fleeting thought. The plot tells the story of him and her. Look, time passes. What have we gained, and what have we lost in the end? She loves this world so much that it would never let her down. But he has always had eyes only for her. Having her is his whole world, isn't it? Sitting on a busy street, he looks up and sees her radiant smile. Perhaps it is the happiest moment of his life. Walking through a quiet park, he feels a hand holding his tightly. Perhaps it is the moment he least wants to let go. A lifetime with a few memories worth holding on to is more than enough. He is content and asks for no more affection. In the end, happiness drifts farther and farther away from him. Sometimes it is only a door, a window, a blink away, so close he could reach out and take it. Yet he chooses to leave, in his own way.
