At the center of it all, Xiang Yuxing, wearing slippers trimmed with fake rabbit fur, bounced in front of the screen and let out a shrill scream. Then she fainted from anger. When she woke up, she had become a stray cat Xie Xingzhi had brought home. Xiang Yuxing bared her claws. She had to sniff food before eating, sometimes dipped her hand in water, twitched her ears when she heard a sound, and was especially interested in birds. At an awards ceremony packed with stars, Xiang Yuxing spotted Xie Xingzhi and hurried straight toward him, holding up her skirt. While everyone wondered, “Are they really that close?” or “Are they about to fight in public?”, Xiang Yuxing leaned over in front of them all and rubbed her face against Xie Xingzhi’s.
