A long time ago, when she was still a little girl, Aphrodite spent fifteen years in a home where she was made to study endlessly and had no privacy at all. Then a serious illness struck her down, and she was tormented by pain in the hospital.
Her wings were broken.
She'd never cared about dying, but after the pain brought her to the brink of death again and again, she finally became afraid. A fierce will to survive welled up in her, and she wanted to live. In the end, she still died beneath her parents' cold gazes.
In the midst of that coldness, her soul was torn apart, shattered in the cruelest way.
In the fantasies that came with death, she thought that perhaps she should have lived a little more selfishly.
But life is full of twists. She fell in love with a man who was destined to shoulder responsibilities that were both his and not his, and who would still resolutely march toward his death.
Before she could put her first confession into words, responsibility defeated it, and she fled like a drowned dog.
But when fate once again absurdly bound them together, she thought:
"Maybe I can risk everything for myself, too."
Different wishing pools, different coins,
all for the same person.
A woman afraid of death stepped into the fray herself, just to smooth the furrow in her lover's brow forever, just to free him from his nightmares.
And so, like the people of a thousand years ago, she once again fought the Lady of the Lake, the "Witch of Eternity and Infinity," at Crystal Lake.
In death, she embraced her lover with her soul, and her tears healed all his pain and fear. Under the apocalypse of the Infinity Stones, she crawled back from death. Amid flames and the power of infinity, surrounded by her lover and friends, she finally met her true death.
As the witch lay dying, she cast her final curse:
"You will die surrounded by everyone."
And so, in her lover's arms, she struggled to force a smile and said,
"I came to save you. This is what I came here for."
In all the countless days and nights that followed, Tony Stark would remember that moment. It was the most painful moment of his life, when the woman he loved stopped breathing in his arms forever.
He would always interrupt the girl's fear and unease with a kiss. He could always find her. But in the home they'd once shared, he could no longer wait for her to return, or for the kisses and embraces she used to give him for comfort.
All that remained was him, listening to the waves crash and gazing out over the endless sea. He would spend the rest of his life waiting for the girl who had sung beneath the snowy night sky, but she would never come back.
His lover embraced death to make death let go of him.
Salazar Slytherin in this story is the protagonist of another one of my works, and is a transmigrator.
The Harry Potter timeline has been changed a lot.
The main romance is with Tony, though Tony might be a little out of character. If that bothers you, feel free to point it out, but please don't be too harsh. I'm just a fragile little girl who wants to ship Tony with someone (drops to my knees).
The heroine only has a romantic storyline with Tony, from beginning to end.
Theme: Loving Tony.
Pause for a while and process the story!
