He was born on Thousand Witch Mountain, cursed by the Heavenly Dao to be born without a heart or feelings. The world feared him.
He was only a wisp of a divine soul, hidden inside a red umbrella. He chose to stay by his side simply because he was fond of him.
He told him, "Because you have no heart, you don't understand love. But I still want to stay by your side, simply because I love you."
Every day, he carried a red umbrella, with a wisp of a soul for company beneath it.
But the Heavenly Dao would not allow it.
The world feared and rejected him, calling him a monster. Bound by the Heavenly Dao, he watched helplessly as the person he loved, who had awakened his heart, was reduced to ashes, leaving behind only a battered red umbrella.
He said that everyone in the world was selfish. So why should he be controlled by the Heavenly Dao? He might as well indulge his own selfish desire, destroy all the selfish and greedy people in the world, and overthrow the Heavenly Dao that toyed with people's hearts.
In the end, all people saw was the world-destroying monster, clutching a tattered red umbrella and weeping like a child...
