One-on-one+++ happy ending
A busy, aloof university professor who's been hard to approach for thirty years x an adorable top student who keeps at it and is determined to get into grad school
It might count as a teacher-student romance, though either they don't get together or they aren't teacher and student
1. Blurb
You You pursuing Luan Tian was unexpected.
After all, she really did go to the School of Economics for the sake of studying.
But it was also only to be expected.
After all, Luan Tian was incredibly handsome.
Unfortunately, she couldn't catch him. Not even a little. The old man was so stubborn and impossible to deal with. He had a bad temper, and he never gave an inch.
You You gave up.
Then Luan Tian pinned her against the car. "Don't move."
People really are perverse. Even a remarkable man like Luan Tian is no exception.
2. A few words
I've been working on this story for a long time, and it's gotten a lot of praise from friends among all my stories.
After thinking it over, I feel it might be because You You embodies the ideal version of a person that many people have in mind.
I don't know how to write blurbs, and I'm not very good at writing novels either. I'd rather call myself a storyteller. (Of course, I also don't want to admit that I'm not very talented, that I can't get published on Green River, that hardly anyone reads my work or leaves comments, and that I can't even tell whether my stats are good or bad.) I can't come up with anything new. I can't even come up with anything new for an academic paper, let alone a story. I just want to tell little stories about ordinary people.
I'm afraid no one will read it, but I figure that's fine. Even if no one reads it, at least more people will see it than if I just sent the PDF to my friends.
3. Finally, finally.
I hope I can work hard and be a cabbage: hardworking and still terrible, terrible and still hardworking.
I've finished the whole story before posting. The deadline I promised at the end of my last story has long since passed. Though no one was waiting for it, I should still say I'm sorry, both to myself and to whatever might have been.
Theme: Love yourself well, and live well
Come on! You are great
