A collection of bonus chapters for the Red Mansion novel next door. Back then, my ideas kept growing, and I couldn't finish the several bonus chapters. So I'm digging a new hole. I recommend reading it together with the other novel, but it's fine if you don't. I think this one stands fairly well on its own.
This expands on the IF storyline posted in the author's notes of the other novel, with a few changes.
Mainly told from Jia Yuanchun's perspective, with the two Yuanchuns swapping places (the female official Yuanchun and the consort Yuanchun).
No CP, and there are no romance plotlines in this story. The consort Yuanchun's side has palace intrigue.
The plot follows Daiyu's journey to the capital. Since I once joked in the other novel's author's notes about Daiyu and the other novel's heroine having a daughter, this follows that kind of IF storyline. Xifeng also marries into the Jia family as usual.
Theme: Just keep living. What else can you do?
With the tone of the original work, it is rare that Zicuckoo is not portrayed in a mother-like manner, which makes people uncomfortable.
So the two of us still haven't switched back, right?
