Farming in a Sports Anime

[Main story complete. A bonus chapter will drop next week.] While her classmates sweat it out on the tennis court, Ling Lin is plowing fields; while her best friend gives it their all on the basketball court, Ling Lin is sowing seeds; while her buddy reigns supreme on the volleyball court, Ling Lin is harvesting... Everyone else's youth is full of passion and hard work. Ling Lin's youth is full of the joy of reaping what she has sown... Other people transmigrate into sports anime and dominate on the field. Ling Lin transmigrated and ended up farming... Ling Lin: It's not what I wanted! But my transmigration perk is a farming game! Every time she thinks about giving up, she unlocks a new character or skill, and then she gets immersed in farming all over again... It's like a gacha game. To keep players around, it keeps adding new characters. I don't know if it kept other players hooked, but it definitely kept Ling Lin hooked, and even helped her make friends while she farmed. Ling Lin: Listen, I just want to say thank you! · When she unlocked Atobe's affection level, she discovered that his skill was: The Emperor of Hyotei. Ling Lin: ...Does an emperor need to farm? [Warning: This story has lots of Mary Sue moments, especially in scenes with Atobe. There are also lots of chuunibyou and awkward scenes, the sort that make you curl your toes into the shape of a city. Fanfiction inevitably includes some out-of-character portrayals, so please be understanding.] Theme: Take friendship seriously.
