Kamiya Haru works at the Guangyuan Nursery, looking after the children of Guangyuan Company's employees. Everyone at Guangyuan Company is odd and mysterious, and they are always going out on field assignments.
But that's not Kamiya Haru's concern. His job is to take good care of these little rascals.
That's easier said than done.
The little ones all have completely different personalities, and they often leave Kamiya Haru at a loss.
Gen's Blazar is already seven but still can't talk. He's always spaced out and makes loud noises that disturb everyone.
Little Gamu Takayama and Daichi Ozora are always absorbed in their experiments. Hiroya Fujimiya follows along with a cool expression, occasionally lending a hand.
And Daichi Ozora is always talking to a phone he built himself. It's hard to tell if there's anything wrong with his head.
Little Shin Moroboshi is the kids' ringleader, always leading a pack of little ones on wild runs. He also loves fighting Shin Asuka, claiming they're just sparring.
Daigo Madoka is a great big brother. He not only looks after his own little brother Kengo, but also helps keep Shin Moroboshi and Shin Asuka in line.
Taro's little brother, Mirai Hibino, is an angel. But Taro's son, Yuma Kudo, is always talking to thin air. It's hard to tell if he's in his right mind.
Oh, and Haruki, who loves karate, has the same problem.
Himeya's little Nagi is very introverted and hardly ever speaks.
Hikaru Raido and Shou are both very dependable, and they get along well.
And these two, Gai Kurenai and Jugglus Juggler, are always at odds, but somehow they keep eating together. Every time, Juggler has to say in a huffy, tsundere way that this is the last time he'll eat with him. I have no idea what's wrong with him.
The three Minato siblings get along very well and are always playing together, although they do sometimes argue.
Even Riku Asakura from the rival company has been dumped here by his unreliable dad.
All these little rascals have one bad habit in common: they're all chuunibyou... Every day, they shout about protecting Earth and humanity.
Seriously, what are kids these days even learning?
Then, everything suddenly changed. A monster, the kind they had only ever seen on the news, appeared near the Guangyuan Nursery.
Kamiya Haru was about to tell the kids to run, when he saw his beloved little ones pull all kinds of toys out of nowhere.
Little Shin Moroboshi, who was always causing trouble, turned serious and told him to hurry away.
Wait, this isn't how things are supposed to go.
Then he saw the kids he'd just been holding in his arms raise their toys and shout a whole string of strange names.
When a group of Ultraman, each dozens of meters tall, appeared in front of Kamiya Haru, he was completely dumbfounded.
Guangyuan Company is terrifying!
Note:
1. Guangyuan Company = Land of Light + Tsuburaya Productions.
2. In keeping with the original setting, the human hosts are Ultraman, and some of them speak to each other.
3. The kids with parents are written with their parents, and those without parents are written with their captains. Blazar and little Nagi's human hosts are their parents. They're all Guangyuan employees.
