The fish, not smart enough to know better, refused to leave his side until Chu Chenze was hooked by a fishing line.

The man who had fished him out sounded thrilled, but Chu Chenze could no longer make out what he was saying. He assumed the man had realized his body could be used as a rare ingredient in some elixir.

Then he woke up to find himself lying in bed, his wounds healed with the finest spirit medicine. The man who had fished him out sat beside him, rested a hand on his forehead, and looked at him with affectionate, teasing peach-blossom eyes. "Chum Treasure," he said.

Main character is the gong. He's very much a do-as-he-pleases type, and fishing isn't his only hobby. He does whatever he wants and is always looking for fun.

One-on-one, two strong leads, though of course the main character is the strongest.
