A few notes:
I had to work overtime frequently in May, and had a certification exam in June, so updates were put on hold. When I picked the story back up later, I looked at the character stories in the game for inspiration and felt my characterization was seriously OOC. Even the Vision description clearly says: "View the world again from the perspective of someone in the audience, and create the finest performance from the perspective of someone in the audience." That was when I could no longer continue with the original plot.
So without changing the current family, pairing, or other settings, I'll be making major changes to the story. It'll basically be a rewrite.
The complete story will be released all at once on October 13, Furina's birthday, and is expected to be 40-50 chapters. Since the whole story is being rewritten, comments will be turned off.

After two knocks, a small hand pushes open the study door. A girl with a blue-and-white jellyfish haircut rushes over to the man's desk, excitedly holding her new script. "Dad Yusaku, look, look! It's my new script. Tell me what you think."
"What's the new idea this time?" Yusaku Kudo takes the script with a smile. "Oh? A mystery? Are you finally entering my field? No wonder you came to me for feedback this time."
"What do you mean, 'no wonder'? I've asked you plenty of times before!" Furina puffs out her cheeks. Before, this celebrated author had always said it was outside his field, so he only offered suggestions about major logical problems and let her go wild with the details. "This one came from a dream I've been having lately. I woke up feeling heavy-hearted, but I couldn't let the inspiration slip away, so I wrote it down... For now, I've titled it The Girl's Serial Disappearance Case."
Furina Kudo, 16 (?), was adopted from an orphanage by the Kudo couple ten years ago. She is about to enter her first year at Beika High School, and she's an all-around genius when it comes to musicals and plays. With the Kudo couple as her guarantors, Furina directed her first musical at the age of 13. It was a huge success, and she became an overnight sensation, known to audiences as the mysterious director Elynas.

"A brand-new genre! Can Elynas live up to her reputation as a genius?"
"Shocking! Director Elynas appears at the press conference!"
The livestream of The Water's press conference is all over the top of the social media trending lists. Comments fly across the screen, yet Furina, who still has time before she goes on stage, has time to enjoy a little cake. After all, it's her last bit of free time for a while, so she might as well enjoy it.
"Furina, it's time!"
"Coming~" She has a feeling the moment the truth is revealed is almost here.

Some settings:
1. The story begins just after the main plot's flood of Fontaine City. Furina has not received a Vision.
2. Furina is a single person, and is still an Oceanid in body in this version. She can wield elemental power.
3. A crossover with Detective Conan, Bungo Stray Dogs, Cardcaptor Sakura, and others. All canon pairings are included; characters without a canon pairing have none. (Touya and Yukito count as canon.)
