Did the Puppy Get Back Together Today? Bot

Friends all joked that they had never met a domineering CEO like Shen Po: by day, he made decisions and managed his team at the company; by night, he was his girlfriend's dog.

When the two of them broke up, their friends showed no humanity (crossed out), and instead were deeply heartbroken, checking in every day in a group chat called [Has the Puppy Made Up with Her Today Bot].

Still not back together.

That poor little mutt isn't really going to become a stray, is he?

One day, Shen Po started checking in himself:

Soon. She let me come into her home.

Almost there today, too. She said she needs me.

-

A year ago, Shen Po took in a one-year-old German Shepherd puppy from a police officer friend. The pup hadn't made it as a police dog because it got distracted whenever it saw a cat, which interfered with its work.

His friend gave a blunt assessment: “Leo would be better off chasing after cats as their sidekick.”

When Shen Po decided to bring Leo home, he hadn't met Yu Yu yet.

Only after meeting Yu Yu did Shen Po understand why his friend had recommended Leo to him. It turned out that he and Leo were cut from the same cloth.

-

When Yu Yu asked to break up, Shen Po asked her, “What about Leo? It likes you more.”

And Leo really did plop down on the floor, immovable as a mountain.

Yu Yu stroked the dog's ears and decided to keep Leo.

Shen Po asked again, “Then what about me? I'm afraid of being lonely. I'll miss you.”

Yu Yu: “Then I'll give you the dog back.”

Shen Po still left Leo with her. Without the puppy nagging her to eat or go out and play, she'd forget to eat or move while working.

She needed the puppy.

He needed her, too.
