A self-indulgent survival-and-development story about raising a child. Updates are relaxed, at least once a week, and I follow the rankings when featured.
On her way home, Yun Rongrong finds an abandoned human infant.
She picks up the little one, planning to wait somewhere brighter for the police.
But as soon as she steps out of the alley, she discovers she has entered a wilderness survival game.
Apart from the clothes on her back, the only thing she has with her is this human infant.
Yun Rongrong falls silent for a few seconds, then looks into the little one's eyes and says, "Great. Starting today, I'm your mama."
For their first meal in the wilderness, they start by digging out a little squirrel's food stash.
Yun Rongrong sits cross-legged in a hastily built shelter, cracking nuts as she teaches the little one: "Humans are social creatures, and getting along with your neighbors is essential. Like right now, our friendly little squirrel neighbor has kindly treated the two of us, saving us from the misery of going hungry."
Game notification: [Talking with your child helps them grow. Your child seems a little more lively. Odd Trait +1.]
Whatever else you go without, never neglect your child's education. When the little one turns a hundred days old, Yun Rongrong spends money to give them a traditional first-birthday object-selection ceremony.

When the little one is seven months old, Yun Rongrong returns from gathering resources to find the child crawling over to hug her leg and say their first word: "Ma... ma."
Yun Rongrong: "!"

When the little one turns one, Yun Rongrong gives him an exquisite deerskin bow. He can't bear to put it down.

What kind of child will he grow up to be?
Elegant?
Devious?
Sunny?
Serious?
Yun Rongrong has the final say.
Survival + development + raising a child
There is a male lead, but he appears much later. He won't show up in the first volume's wilderness survival storyline. He appears in the second volume, when the lord mode and inter-realm gameplay begin.
Theme: No matter where you are, keep your heart turned toward the light
