A car accident took everyone in Jiang Beilu’s family.

Her name was Ji Xi, with “xi” meaning hope.
Later, the girl who had given him hope lost her home.
Jiang Beilu’s heart ached for her. “If you don’t mind, I’ll take care of you from now on.”
Ji Xi took his hand and softly called him, “Big brother.”

“Jiang Beilu, you won’t marry me, but you won’t let anyone else marry me either. What exactly do you want?”
Faced with her hurt accusations, Jiang Beilu gave in. Trembling, he held her close. “Xixi, I was wrong. Please don’t torment me like this, okay?”
