"I was out of my mind back then, and I wronged you. You don't like me either, so why don't we get divorced?" Yuan Lingling looked earnestly at the handsome man in front of her.
Having transmigrated into a book as the missing ex-wife of its big villain, Yuan Lingling didn't want to disappear again. She also no longer wanted to win the villain over. All she wanted was to get far away from him as fast as possible.
But he wouldn't be reasoned with.
"Divorce? What do you take me for?"
Yuan Lingling had no idea the villain thought she wanted a divorce so she could live happily ever after with the scumbag.
Who could have guessed? All she wanted was to be a single mom, while the villain had already imagined himself being cuckolded.
-
Shen Caisheng's thinking was actually very simple: if she didn't want him to have an easy life, then nobody would.
She was the one who drugged him and climbed into his bed back then, and now she wanted a divorce too. How could she expect things to work out so nicely for her?
-
When the divorce didn't work, Yuan Lingling came up with another plan: run away.
As someone with claustrophobia, Yuan Lingling would never get together with the big villain who had imprisoned the original owner for twenty years.
The first time she tried to escape, Yuan Lingling got so worked up that she fainted and was taken to the hospital. Her pregnancy was discovered, and the villain kept an even closer eye on her. She decided she needed help.
The second time she tried to escape, the helper she'd finally found became the villain's sworn brother and tried to talk her around from the other side. Luckily, she stood firm.
Before she could try a third time, the villain put his military ID, various medals of honor, and a marriage application in front of her.
"We already have a child, but we're not legally married. That's against the rules."
Yuan Lingling didn't hear a word he said. Her gaze swept over the items, and she was horrified. This guy was getting crazier by the day. He'd forge anything. Heavens, who would come save her?
1. A slice-of-life story about everyday family matters.
2. Set in a fictional world inspired by the 1980s. Not historically accurate in any way.
3. The male lead acts like a hoodlum because he's an undercover agent. He has clear principles when it comes to right and wrong and isn't truly a villain. He wasn't the one who caused the female lead to disappear; she misunderstood him.

You can't open your mouth, right? [Question mark]
The heroine is pregnant, so reckless and shows off everywhere
This heroine doesn't have enough brains
Why doesn't the heroine scold her back?
It feels like this chapter is pushing the plot, and the twist is a little quick. The images of both the protagonist and the supporting characters are thin, which makes people feel a bit out of place.
"Monthly data please" is a big bug for the author~ Original book plot
