I Became the Crown Prince in Ancient Times

(Third-person narration)

In my previous life, I was a crown prince of the Xia Kingdom.

To be precise, a deposed crown prince.

The history books record it this way: Emperor Zhao had no sons, so he adopted a child from the imperial clan as crown prince. In the ninth year of the Qi era, the crown prince was suspected of plotting rebellion, deposed, and reduced to commoner status.

This is how historians comment on it: Emperor Zhao was harsh and ungrateful. The crown prince, Tao Jinghuai, lived on tenterhooks, constantly afraid. Suspected of plotting rebellion, he was deposed and died of depression.

Also, Tao Jinghuai was said to favor men, and had ambiguous relationships with a prince of another surname, a eunuch of the Eastern Depot, and the commander of the Imperial Guards, among others. He was extremely possessive.

The young talents mentioned above all broke down and went mad after the crown prince died.

Me: ?

When I woke up, I had returned to this era.

In this life, I swear I'll reclaim everything that belongs to me! (Just kidding.)

First there was Emperor Zhao and Prince Rong, then the Eastern Depot, the Embroidered Uniform Guard, the Imperial Guard commander...

I decided to find a well-born male favorite first and spend a few years enjoying romance and pleasure.

But...

The truth was different from what people in later generations guessed.

I really did plot a rebellion back then.
