Nan Qiang transmigrates into a book.
By the time he realizes he's transmigrated into a book, the story has already begun.
As it happens, he has become the novel's protagonist bottom.
And even more conveniently, the handsome junior standing in front of him is the other half of the novel's couple.
Looking at the sunny young man before him,
he thinks: I'm doomed. He's a younger, loyal puppy-top, too.
As a straight man, and an ordinary college guy at that,
Nan Qiang's first reaction is to get away from the plot.
But the wheels of fate have already started turning from the moment the male lead first laid eyes on him.
Everything starts unfolding according to the "normal" plot.
After all, as the center of the world, everything else takes a back seat to the protagonists' romance.
Everything gives way to this seemingly beautiful love story.
Even Nan Qiang himself.
Bonus scene
After finishing the story and reaching the extras, Nan Qiang starts feeling sick at the sight of cake.
After all, the most common gift in the novel was cake.
So when the male lead comes back with the chocolate cake that Nan Qiang liked most in the story,
Nan Qiang wants to throw the sickly sweet cake in the male lead's face
and curse him out as a "bastard."
Then, before the other guy can react,
he wants to grab his phone and run out.
But that's all just in his imagination.
Still, by nightfall, Nan Qiang finally gets his freedom.
He sneaks away from the place.
When the top wakes up and realizes what happened, he's utterly confused.
Where's my wife? Where's my one-and-only wife?
Away from his lover, Nan Qiang happily runs toward freedom.
But the golden-retriever top who's lost his wife is left behind, crying and hoping she'll suddenly appear in front of him.
A darkening, loyal-puppy top who's lost his wife x a bottom who gains his freedom but has a self-destructive streak
