[Western Crossover] A Rookie's Guide to Becoming Gotham's Top Cop

When Rairika's reputation as a gaming ace at the police academy spread far and wide, the terrible news arrived: she ranked dead last in her class.

Fate took a sharp 180-degree turn. Rairika was assigned to Gotham, that terrifying crime capital with its exceptionally high death rate.

On the night before she was due to start work in Gotham, she went online to ask for help: How do you survive a week in Gotham? Please, I need answers ASAP.

Her kindhearted senior from the academy became her mentor.

He said a police officer should become part of the community, so Rairika's secret identity, the Headless Horseman, wound up with two very well-behaved grandsons.

The Penguin and Black Mask: ...We willingly called a criminal Mom. We feel so helpless.

He said a police officer should get down to the grassroots, so Rairika's secret identity, the Mastermind, earned a permanent residence at Arkham Asylum and got right in among the patients.

Everyone at Arkham: Thanks for asking. We really did get right in there and start beating each other up.

He said a police officer should maintain good relationships, so Rairika's secret identity, a mechanical girl from the future, became the Justice League's darling.

Everyone in the Justice League: But she's super cute!

He said a police officer should be confident, so Rairika climbed the greatest mountain in DC with her senior. Red-eyed and hands on her hips, she pinned him against the doorway and declared with absolute confidence: Call me your wife, and I'll give you my life.

Much later, the Joker's gang was forced to hand out candy on the streets, the villains were working their sewing machines at lightning speed, and they all got steady jobs and a government paycheck... Gotham was no longer the crime capital, and the Gotham City Police Department had its youngest commissioner ever.

Big Blue Bird: ...Somehow, everything sounds right, and yet none of it does! I thought she was frail, but it turns out she's tough as nails.

Gotham's darkness will not last forever. Rairika will bring about the light in her own way:

The Headless Rider of Justice who rides through the dark, the all-knowing Mastermind, the mechanical girl from the future...

Rairika: Sorry, they're all my secret identities.

Please note:

An uplifting career-focused story about rising through the ranks. The heroine will become commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department.

Early on, most of the story focuses on law enforcement duties. In the middle, the heroine gets promoted to detective and starts solving cases.

The Arkham villains get harassed. Either your dignity or your reputation has to go.

The heroine is cautious but mischievous, and loves stirring up trouble. She won't kill anyone unless it's self-defense.

Her identities are never exposed.

Coming next: [Horror Crossover] The Arkham Travel Group

Davila is a hot-tempered idiot, the kind with an official diagnosis.

According to her psychologist, traveling would help ease Davila's temper and improve her intelligence, so her mother happily signed her up for a tour group.

Everyone at Arkham: Thanks for asking, but what kind of monster is Davila?! Bombs can't kill her, poison gas can't kill her, and she makes noise all day like a braying donkey.

At first, they looked down on Davila. Later, they feared her. Finally, Davila said she wanted to heal Sister A Zhen, Mama Coconut, Little Sister Puppet... all the poor souls she met on the trip.

"Aren't we family?" Davila warmly took the hands of everyone at Arkham. Behind her stood countless terrifying ghosts.

The ghosts: At first we struggled, then we lay flat. Healing through sheer force is terrifying.

After the trip ended, her despicable relatives urged Davila's mother to send her to Arkham Asylum.

That day, every villain in Gotham was stirred into action. Hundreds of luxury cars parked outside Davila's home to "kindly negotiate" with her nosy relatives. They even gave Davila a hundred million dollars to get as far away as possible and never set foot in Gotham again!

Much later, the entire spirit world had heard that woman's name. Wherever Davila went, every supernatural creature fled in terror.

Pairing: Jason.

Please note: The Arkham villains get harassed.

A goofy comedy with the plot at its heart.

The heroine is absurdly powerful but doesn't realize it, and wins over ghosts through brute force.

Theme: May every dream find its way to success.
