Characters:

Female lead 1: Lin Yan (gentle, quiet, proud, rebellious, 17, attends Wenxin High School. Catchphrase: "Xiao Song, you're really beautiful." / Born into a wealthy family, she is dearly loved by her family. After they die in an accident, she is left all alone. A scheming green tea girl frames her and has her killed. Heartbroken, she eventually dies by suicide.)

Female lead 2: Song Ke (bossy and adorable, but a little cold-blooded, 18, a transfer student at Wenxin High School. Catchphrase: "I really don't like you. Could you stop bothering me?" / Her parents died when she was young. She meets Lin Yan by chance, is seduced by Yang Keke, and is eventually killed after Yang Keke takes her family fortune.)

General plot: During an attempted rape, Song Ke steps in to save Lin Yan, and Lin Yan falls in love with her. Song Ke's guarded heart slowly melts, and eventually the two fall in love with each other. With Lin Yan's help, Song Ke becomes rich overnight, but various misunderstandings cause their relationship to freeze over. In the end, Song Ke falls for someone else, Lin Yan dies by suicide, and Song Ke dies in despair.

Supporting characters:

Yang Keke: A scheming, vicious, evil green tea girl, 17, attends Wenxin High School. Catchphrase: "Sorry, I didn't know." / A super-rich heiress with a background much like Lin Yan's, but her mother is a green tea girl in secret and has raised her to be one, too. She pretends to be Lin Yan's best friend, but secretly causes Lin Yan and Song Ke's deaths.

Lin Yi: Gentle, generous, kind, and outstanding, 45, works at Wenxin High School. Catchphrase: "Let me see which little silly pig hasn't been paying attention in class!" / Lin Yan's father. He loves Lin Yan more than anything, earns a lot of money, and treats her extremely well and tenderly. He appears to be a teacher, but secretly runs a company. Yang Keke plots to kill him.

Wang Aiai: Sweet, kind, and considerate, 43, works at Lin'ai Company. Catchphrase: "No matter how silly you are, you're still my little silly pig, my beloved good girl." / Lin Yan's mother. She isn't a housewife, but is gentle with Lin Yan. She works at her husband's company as its lady boss. She already has heart disease, and Yang Keke's cruelty drives her to her death.
