[If fate is a lonely river, who will become the ferryman of your soul?]
When Gojo Satoru awoke, he found himself lying on an endless lawn, surrounded by grass that stretched as far as the eye could see.
A warm breeze gently brushed his cheek, carrying away all his exhaustion. Sunlight poured over him, bathing him completely in its glow, without a trace of gloom.
"Where is this?" he wondered. The Six Eyes told him that everything was real, so he could rule out the possibility of a cursed spirit's domain.
Just as he began to feel restless and considered firing off a [Blue], a voice he would never forget, even if he lost every memory, came from behind him.
"Long time no see, Satoru."
He turned around abruptly. The man had a head of smooth black hair, and his long, refined features were almost too perfect. His eyes gleamed with cunning, like those of a sly fox.
Gojo Satoru was not surprised because everything was unfamiliar. He was surprised because the person before him was far too familiar.
"Suguru." The name he had buried in his heart for decades slipped from his lips. Who could have imagined that the person he thought about day and night would reunite with him today?
Facing Gojo Satoru, the other man smiled with a warmth that seemed capable of melting anything and said, "I'm the ferryman of your soul, Geto Suguru."
