My other novel, "Dual Cultivation with the Big Shot After Shocking Everyone," is now available. Come check it out!
This novel:
A male lead who believes even wickedness should be done with style, a great villain (x) and a female lead who is cool and gentle, yet strikes down her enemies with swift sword strokes, a delicate little flower.
Before Zhou Nanyin entered the Dao, she was betrothed to the son of the man who had once saved her life.
At twenty, after the demon-slaying campaign at Jiyuan Mountain, she lost her sight and her sword. Once the darling of the Daoist sects, admired by all, she fell from grace and became an outcast from her sect.
She arranged to meet her nominal "fiance" and spoke plainly:
"Though you're four years younger than me, you're old enough to marry. But I carry a great personal vendetta. I won't marry until I rescue my junior sister and clear my master's name. We were both children when we were betrothed, and we have no feelings for each other. Why not end the engagement? You can find yourself a good girl."
The other person's voice was lazy. "What's wrong with waiting a few years for you? I'm happy to. Besides, I'm young."
Zhou Nanyin: "...But I'm blind."
"That doesn't matter. I don't mind."
"..."
As they grew closer, Zhou Nanyin gradually realized that her fiance wasn't quite what she'd imagined.
He was far too tall to be only sixteen.
He knew the mountains and rivers, local customs, and the lives of ordinary people. His knowledge was far beyond that of a young scholar who had only read the classics.
The atmosphere was dangerous and charged, nothing like the feeling of "taking my little brother on a journey" that she'd expected.
The one thing that did meet her expectations was his cowardice.
"Sister, there's a female ghost over there, with blood running from all seven orifices. It's scary."
"Sister, that guy's dragging a thick, long tail. He must be a demon, right? Protect me."
Somehow, she also became the "big boss" of the demons and ghosts. Even capturing a random ghost could draw several Demon Kings to her side, all wholeheartedly submitting to her. Before long, she had a whole following at her beck and call.
Later, Zhou Nanyin fights her way to become the leader of the Immortal Alliance and leads the mystic sects of the Central Plains back to Jiyuan Mountain. There, she meets the legendary Demon Venerable for the first time, and his voice sounds terribly familiar.
As the handsome, dashing man slowly approaches and bends down to whisper to her, she hears him say:
"Sister, your eyes are healed, and your revenge is complete. Isn't it time to keep your promise?"
P.S. This is not an incest romance. The male lead is actually older than the female lead.
The female lead is nearly max-level from the start, but she lost her sword, went blind, and was injured, so she suffers a few setbacks. She gradually gets her strength back later.
All the main and supporting characters in this story practice Daoist arts. They are human, not immortal, and have finite lifespans, as well as bonds of family and friendship.
(Revised.)
The story's historical backdrop is the Wu Hu uprising. Daoist waidan alchemy is on the verge of collapse, while neidan cultivation is just emerging. After Buddhism was introduced to China, it incorporated some Daoist practices and is only beginning to flourish. Buddhism and Daoism are both blending together and coming into conflict. The setting is fictionalized for the story!
I'm currently writing "She Became the Secretary to a Beautiful, Powerful Big Shot" (After two heartbreaks, a beautiful and powerful big shot falls from the sky).
Please add it to your collection! Pretty please!!!!!!
Jiang Ci was born into the cultivation world and worked tirelessly, hunting demons and catching ghosts, until she became a junior administrator in the General Affairs Division of Tianwei Palace.
Her life plan was simple: have a steady supply of spirit stones to support her family, and, ideally, find a reliable, steady Dao companion to share her life with.
But life didn't go as planned. Her childhood sweetheart abandoned her for someone better, and the promising sword cultivator introduced by a friend was even more immature than her little brother...
At a low point, Jiang Ci never expected someone to offer her an opportunity.
Gu Wei, the Palace Master of Tianwei Palace, asked her:
"I need a record-keeper. Would you like to join my staff?"
He stood at the edge of a cliff, with otherworldly beauty and an aura of aloof purity.
People said he was a legend in the cultivation world, that he had swept through the Demon Abyss with his sword and restored the glory of the Immortal Palace. They also said he had only come to Tianwei Palace to gain experience and would return to Taixuan Heaven before long.
Jiang Ci rarely interacted with him. Most of the time, she and the other disciples stood aside, greeting Gu Wei and the powerful cultivators accompanying him one by one.
At that moment, Jiang Ci hesitated for a second, then put on a smile. "I'm in!"
*
An unusual demonic transformation strikes a commandery, and Gu Wei, Palace Master of Tianwei Palace, goes to investigate in person with his people.
By chance, Jiang Ci runs into that "promising" sword cultivator again. They exchange a few unpleasant words, and she gets distracted.
In front of all the fellow Daoists, Gu Wei lightly taps the scroll in her hand and reminds her in a businesslike tone, "Fellow Daoist Jiang, have you recorded everything in detail?"
Jiang Ci hastily collects herself.
That night, in an empty temple, Gu Wei holds her tightly, as if trying to press her into his body. He tilts her chin up and looks into her unfocused eyes.
"Good girl, from now on, can you stop seeing people who have nothing to do with palace affairs?"
A gentle, scheming old fox x a resilient, ambitious girl who's a little scatterbrained.
1. A gentle version of coercive love. The male lead lures her in at first, then showers her with affection later.
Theme: Having received the great kindness of instruction from the Three Pure Ones, one should always cherish the thought of saving all living beings.
Let's end it quickly. No matter what Qiao's reasons are, she has gone crazy with such wanton killing... Thinking of Sect Leader Wang, it's hard for a good person to live long. Even before he died, he was making excuses for Qiao.
I don't quite understand Hui Ke's part. I feel that Monk Hui Ke is so compassionate that he will protect Qiao Yinfeng but will not fall in love with her.
I actually quite like Fifth Sister. There are many reasons. She is real, worldly, has a good side but also has evil thoughts and bad deeds. But the most important thing is that she has more than just the "desire" of a female competing for love. She wants a lot, and it's not just a good man who loves me. Just like candied haws skewers, she wants both big and small. A good man, she wants. She also wants the rich and powerful. If you change your gender, and you have a person who is loyal and decisive to his own desires, and is kind to the family and friends he likes within the scope of feasibility (and is good-looking), then he is called a hero, and he is a charming villain. But many times women are not allowed to have ambitions other than female competition. If a girl is used as the final boss, most of the reasons are love and not going crazy for love, which makes people think, "Huh? That's it?"
But the fifth sister's desire has nothing to do with gender, she wants it, so even though she comes from a humble background and uses herself as a tool, she can achieve what she wants step by step. Of course, it's not that she is right, but that the logic of her character is logical. Although her thoughts and desires seem to start from the female mentality of "wanting to marry high", what she ultimately wants is power regardless of gender, and she finally finds that she is much more capable and reliable than those men. This is a qualified and charming final BOSS. So, I like it.
In fact, what is very tearing is that Qiao is one of the Seven Stars. According to the previous description, I feel that their master taught them well, with outstanding personal abilities, and a deep affection for each other. Everyone else has grown up well (at least not bad), but Joe is so completely crazy that he doesn't look like a suffering person of fate, just like a thin villain
It feels like Joe has gone crazy...
I came from Dual Cultivation and found that I liked this article even more, so I ordered all of them. It would be nice if there was a side story
It looks good, but as expected, a lot of people will die in a big battle.
The villain's biography in the story is quite well written and has quite a personal charm. It would be nice if it could be integrated into the main text. The transition is still a bit stiff in the main text. Perhaps due to space limitations, the author's wife's language is relatively concise and the plot unfolds quickly. [Poor] In short, I quite like this story. It's just such a small statement, and it doesn't mean it's a writing guide.
Ah, no extras? ? Want to see falling in love
With Senior Sister Wang's words, I feel relieved! ! ! !
