After the Universally Hated One Enters the World of Detective Conan

Fu Yuesheng is a cannon-fodder character in a novel. Once the true, heaven-blessed protagonist appears, he falls from the clouds into the mud overnight, becoming someone everyone despises, a universally hated outcast.

After he despairingly takes his own life, the System pulls him into an animated series he watched while alive.

Starting one day, Gin begins dreaming every night.

In his dreams, he is no longer himself and has nothing to shoulder. The point of view keeps shifting between people with different identities. The person who appears most often is a handsome, energetic young man. The more Gin sees him, the more he finds himself paying attention to him and caring about him. As he lights a cigarette, he wonders: Can eyes so clear, so free of selfish desires, really exist? He grows curious. He wants to understand this unfamiliar world and discover everything hidden in the young man's eyes. But before he can find a way to act on it, the light-footed, gentle boy who always smiles brightly at everyone dies.

Through other people's eyes, Gin watches the boy be disliked, despised, framed, and humiliated, little by little losing his will to live. He watches the light in the boy's eyes gradually go out, until he finally ends his own life in despair.

Gin can only watch helplessly. After that, he never dreams again.

Until one day, Gin sees the boy once more.

He touches the scar on the boy's wrist. His face betrays no emotion, but in his heart, he thinks:

I will never let you go again.

Reader's Guide / Content Warnings:

1. The protagonist seems universally hated but is actually universally adored and doted on. He's a frail beauty who's too weak to lift a finger and a little gloomy. The missions may depend entirely on his wonderful older brothers, and most of the men will fall in love with him.

2. The timeline is a chaotic stew, the logic is a mess, there are lots of personal additions, and the protagonist has a powerful golden finger.

3. His family from the original world will transmigrate later, and the story will ultimately have a happy ending.

4. Mary Sue, Mary Sue, Mary Sue! If this isn't your thing, run for your life!

5. There will be a pairing, but I haven't decided who yet. Don't assume it's the older brother just because he's in the blurb. It might end in a one-on-one pairing, or I might make things a little more exciting.
