[The main story is complete. Once I have enough chapters in reserve, I'll start the sequel, Kid's Little Sister Is a Science-Crime Badass. The protagonist stays the same, and the story continues from this one.]
[Content warnings: Almost all canon pairings are split up. Shinichi and Ran, Heiji and Kazuha, Kaito and Aoko, the FBI and Shiho, and the FBI characters are all friends, not romantic pairings. No character bashing, no women competing over men. Long live female friendship!]

Amaretto was a member of the Organization who had earned a codename before reaching adulthood and was praised as "the most useful gun." They said that given time, she would surpass Bourbon. Then she unexpectedly died in an explosion.
While everyone else was caught up in a storm of theories, no one noticed that...
A perfectly ordinary elementary school student named Kuroba Yuna had appeared at the Kuroba home and Teitan Elementary School.
*
The first time the gentleman thief met Kuroba Yuna was on a dark and stormy night.
After a "friendly" exchange, the little girl, who had just met him, pointed a gun at his forehead and smiled as she greeted him.
"Good evening, sir."
The gentleman thief, who had been kicked several times by her little shoes: It wasn't very good, thanks.
And so, after that night, the gentleman thief somehow acquired a seven-year-old younger sister from a distant branch of the family.
A little sister with the same extraordinary intelligence as that bespectacled kid, possessing a child's body and an adult's mind.
And then he began a life of being bullied and bossed around...
Daily question:
Has Miss Kuroba been sharp-tongued today?
*
(The following scenes hadn't been written yet in this book. They'll appear in the sequel, Kid's Little Sister Is a Science-Crime Badass. I'm leaving them here to avoid any misunderstandings if I delete them.)
Kuroba Yuna, a new transfer student in Class 1-B at Teitan Elementary School, is frail, often sick, timid, and spoiled. Everyone agrees she's an unbelievably adorable little girl.
Compared with the terrifying feats of the kids led by that bespectacled boy, which even adults would find frightening, the police officers and high schoolers couldn't help feeling relieved and saying:
Now that's what a little kid should be like.
But one detective knew the truth.
All of the above was an act put on by Kuroba Yuna.
In reality, she's sharp-tongued, bad-tempered, lazy, and always using her adorable face to fool everyone.
After all, no innocent little girl could take down an entire gang of kidnappers and then smile as she said:
"Allow me to introduce myself again, great little Mr. Holmes."
"My name is Kuroba Yuna. My codename is Amaretto."
*
Although Miss Kuroba is a sharp-tongued, selfish, and obnoxious person who verbally attacks every detective without discrimination, that doesn't stop everyone around her from liking her.
She'll put on a kendo uniform and protect the Osaka boy's back;
She'll toss down a stack of bills, steal a motorcycle, and take a certain Public Security officer bungee jumping;
She'll even climb onto a Ferris wheel and share one last cigarette with a spiky-haired man who's about to die.
In this story, where detectives protect everyone, only Miss Kuroba selfishly protects (or rather, mocks) the detectives.

"So why did you save me on the rooftop?"
The man, wearing an apron and exuding the air of a devoted husband, rested his hands on the table and patiently waited for the girl across from him to continue.
Finally, after she had leisurely finished her ninth takoyaki, the blond Public Security officer received a perfectly reasonable explanation.
"Because I need a cook who won't have to call an ambulance while making dinner."
The Public Security officer: ...
The Public Security officer: Great. Miss Kuroba's sharp-tongued again today :)

1. Almost all canon pairings are split up, including the main trio, the blond Public Security officer, the FBI, and others. More characters may be added later, including original characters.
2. For the sake of the plot, all the high school characters are set as adults over eighteen.
3. The heroine isn't a conventional good person. She really does have a terrible personality and is extremely capable, but she will never steal the spotlight from other characters or make them act stupid.
4. Characterization may be out of character. Pairings are undecided. The whole cast dotes on her, and there are many one-sided crushes. Don't worry, there are no women competing over men.
5. Don't insult the characters or post BL content. You can criticize the author (please don't bring their family into it), but don't insult the characters.
6. All cases are original. The author's skills are limited, so please point out any plot holes.
7. This is a very long story with a slow start. To preserve the original characters' moments to shine, the heroine may not appear in some chapters. I'll note this in the chapter title, for example: Yuna appears for 10% of the chapter.
8. Once again, because of my own understanding and limited writing ability, I keep feeling that the characters' feelings develop too quickly, that they fall for each other for no reason, or that they understand and change too easily. This often makes the story long and tedious.
I know this is a problem, but whenever I revise, their emotional changes still feel too fast and strange, as if they start caring and falling in love too easily. That's also because of my limited writing ability, and it makes the story really wordy and bloated. I'm sorry again.
9. The cover background was commissioned from an artist by the author, with commercial rights purchased, and then put together by a graphic designer. It doesn't necessarily represent the final pairing. The author could only afford one commission.
10. I was completely crushed by QS, so here's a clarification about my own setup: Doushi and Shinichi are unrelated! Toichi and Yusaku aren't twins! Elena (Haibara's mother) and Mary Akai (Shuichi's mother) aren't related either! This novel isn't one giant Akai-family saga! (Added 4/12)
Theme: Love can change everything.
A must see! I apologize. Because this book is expected to have more than two million words, it is too big. It is the first time for the author to write a book. It is difficult to maintain the quality (although there is no quality at all) and update time in one go, so it will be completed around 600,000. It won't be unfinished, the end of the stage has been written. Due to academic/writing level/subsequent plot setting, the author needs time to polish the subsequent manuscripts. After enough manuscripts are stored, he will start the next "Kid's Sister is Ke Xue Gangster". All the characters will remain the same and the plot will continue from this book. The parts that were not written in the previous copy will be written in the next one. I won't stop watching the next one! The author still has a lot of plots that he wants to write that he hasn't written yet. This is a story that I have been conceiving since junior high school. I started writing it in college and signed a contract after completing a single game of nearly 200,000 words. However, I did not expect that it would be so long (part of the reason is that I am not good at controlling the rhythm) I would like to say sorry to the readers again, and thank you for following me since the beginning of this article. Without your support, it would be difficult for me to persevere until now. I thought I could write a million-word book in one go, but now it seems I was too confident. This is a choice made by the author after careful consideration. In order to make the follow-up more stable and the writing style of the article not to be too cumbersome and slow-paced, I chose to end it after the major plot points. I thought about taking a leave of absence and adjusting for a while, but I knew that because this book is still very long, there are many foreshadowings in it that I set up for the subsequent plot. Whether I took a leave of absence or finished it hastily, I felt that I was irresponsible for the book. Therefore, the stage completion is the best way I can think of to be responsible for this book. In this way, I can have enough time to polish my own words and plots, and then continue to write the stories of Yuna, Douko, Xiaoke, and Heiji. Finally, I would like to apologize to the readers.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Damn, the image of the tall, bearded man I've been bringing in before, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, help.
It's so exciting. When can I watch the second part? Teacher 😣 😣
It's been 26 years, are you still not ready? 😭
It's been a year, when can I open the next one?
It's been almost a year, and all the flowers I've been waiting for have faded. That's enough. (I tugged at my tie irritably, glanced at you like a charity, and quickly turned away in disgust. I sighed, walked up to you, picked you up, and my eyes were doting on you, as if I were talking about a little goblin...)
Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah when the next film will be released, the child is out of food!!!
Looks great, looking forward to it!
It's been two years, is there another one?
