Itra, favored by the eternal night, is home to the vampire clan. Across the forest overgrown with weeds lies the small town of Kalina, where many vampire hunters live.
For years, the vampires and humans have been in constant conflict. As a member of the Hunters' Association, Luga is duty-bound to uphold the hunters' legacy and carry on the fight against the vampire clan.
But fate played a joke on him. The seeds Luga planted with his own hands three years ago led to a disastrous entanglement between him and the vampire Lovis.
Luga thought Lovis had long since forgotten the deception from back then, but one night three years later, the other man came looking for him again.
Lovis's determination to go to such lengths to capture him and take him back to Itra ran deeper than Luga had imagined.
The knife plunged into his body, and blood flowed from the wound in his chest. The vampire's figure stilled, then he let out a low laugh.
"Want to kill me, sweety?"
The vampire's eyes were fireflies in the tranquil night, mesmerizing with their faint, alluring glow.
"I should hate you."
When the surging darkness swallows them both, who is the hunter lying in wait, and who is the prey that willingly took the bait?
"For them, the line between biting and kissing is blurry. Loving him and kissing him are instinctive; hurting him and biting through his neck are instinctive too. They can turn a kiss into a bite, but they cannot turn a bite into a kiss..."
What a dreadfully boring story.

1. 1v1, so read without worry. One of the main characters, the vampire, will drink the blood of people other than the protagonist. A side couple may not be mutually exclusive.

3. The story includes couples beyond just male-male ones, including male-male, male-female, and female-female.
