No Asking the Grim Reaper for Hugs

As a newly appointed Grim Reaper, Anda soon found himself working every day of the year.

Every night, he wandered through the human world with his little scythe, day after day, numb and unfeeling.

If anything interesting ever happened, it was that one morning by the sea, after he finished a can of cola, he saw a mermaid stranded on the beach.

A male mermaid, at that...

So he took him home and kept him as a pet.

He named the mermaid Shen Shiming.

Shen Shiming had no memories of his past. He was a handsome, blue-eyed, blond man with a muscular body and a simple mind.

As he spent time with Anda, he gradually learned about the world and used his outstanding looks to become a star.

Anda, however, couldn't care less. He only cared about sleeping and working.

As a mermaid full of emotion, Shen Shiming started going into heat as soon as he learned about love, and the person he developed feelings for was Anda.

So while Anda was asleep, Shen Shiming often couldn't resist sneaking a kiss, then pretending nothing had happened, though his sorrow was impossible to put into words.

Anda was a Grim Reaper, born without emotions or much capacity for feeling.

So love could never happen with him.

The sentence he said most often was, "Don't hug me. And stay away from me..."
