One day,

Luo Sheng, a newly graduated master's student and exhausted intern, went with her team leader to stake out Qi Yao, a top investor in the industry.

The two of them braved wind, sun, and rain, keeping watch for three whole days.

Her team leader quietly shared some gossip: "I heard Qi Yao started from nothing. He's been clever since he was little, a real genius.

After their reunion, Luo Sheng decided to stay far away from him. She even took detours to avoid Qi Yao's towering commercial building.

She figured Qi Yao was petty enough to have come back for revenge.

But despite all her efforts to avoid him, she ended up asking him for a favor to repay a debt, then got soaked to the skin because she hadn't brought an umbrella.

The boy who had once been thin and pale had grown into a man who could command the winds and clouds. He sat in his dark car, looking at her with cold indifference.

Luo Sheng awkwardly tried to save face. "Mr. Qi, since we know each other, pretending not to would be a bit too distant."

Qi Yao sneered. "Why would I want to know you? So you can dump me again?"

Had she forgotten to mention that she wasn't here to get back together?
