At first, everyone thought it was just a rumor. But then things got increasingly weird. What a great rumor!

To keep her senior brother from worrying about her, she starts going to school every day with a whole stack of life-saving talismans. She discovers that in wholesome New York, talismans as thick as bricks make her feel incredibly safe. They're truly essential for traveling, staying at home, and killing and robbing people!

Believing that everything in the world develops according to its own laws, she doesn't seek admiration from everyone, only her own safety. But why does she keep getting blown up by bombs while walking down the street?

She majors in magic and minors in music, but somehow ends up having a great time calculating fortunes and practicing talisman formations hand in hand with her senior brother, the sword cultivator.
