[The male lead talks himself into falling for her at first, then gets rejected and has no choice but to pine for her. When his secret crush is discovered, he has no choice but to confess. A pampered young master gets thoroughly beaten down by fate and ends up running around in a panic.]
Ling Yue is devastatingly handsome, flamboyant, and carefree.
Plenty of people like him, openly or in secret, and he turns them down without mercy.
His friends joke that he'll get what's coming to him one day.
He curls his lips, barely glancing up. "I'll be waiting."
Then, during a class meeting, his teacher borrows the memory card from his camera. In front of the entire class, the homeroom teacher opens a folder named [Her].
A girl's photo appears on the screen.
His former deskmate, Gu Xi.
Just one photo, cropped to show only her eyes.
Her pupils are faintly brown, her gaze cool and beautiful.
Feeling everyone's eyes on her, Gu Xi silently turns to him.
"..." Didn't I already turn you down?
From the moment the photo appeared, Ling Yue had already decided which building to jump from.
He calmly looks away. "..." Did I pursue you? Who says you can't have a secret crush?
-All I want for you is that you accept these eyes gazing at you.
