When the kiss ended, Jiang He could smell the faint scent of chemicals on him, and hear the man's sexy voice beside her ear. "Isn't getting me to kiss you exactly what you wanted?"

Jiang He was quick to lose interest, and she unilaterally put a stop to Zheng Qianli's feelings just as they were at their most intense. Everyone at Ning Tai University knew the campus heartthrob had been so badly hurt by a girl that he never pursued romance again.

They met again many years later. Jiang He was struggling with her research project and waited anxiously in a conference room for the university professor her advisor had invited to help.

The man who walked in was elegant and composed. He exchanged pleasantries with her advisor, his gaze passing over Jiang He without a moment's pause. Her whole body stiffened, and her fingers tightened around the pen in her hand.

Later, Jiang He had a sheen of sweat on her forehead as she stared dazedly at the ceiling light. The man's voice beside her was mixed with ragged breathing. He laughed.

"Jiang He, do you know now who can make you feel good?"

As he spoke, his fingers continued teasing her sensitive earlobe. "Don't pay him any attention from now on."

"The night I fell in love with you, I didn't dare look into your eyes. I could only praise the beauty of the moon."

They reunite from the start, with some memories woven in.
