Jiang Yu transmigrates into the body of a notorious celebrity whom the entire internet loves to hate. She has no social skills, hogs the spotlight, and says exactly what she thinks.
She has always done whatever she pleases, and even when people criticize her, she refuses to change. Somehow, she always draws attention, and plenty of producers and P.D.s like using her to stir up buzz.
Then one day, people in the entertainment industry begin hearing her inner thoughts, and discover the right way to navigate the business.

At a star-studded banquet, Jiang Yu's eyes light up. So many people, so much juicy gossip!
[Top-tier star Xu Yi debuted on a survival show, but now he's appearing on a low-profile lifestyle variety show. The real reason is... to escape a bandmate who's been harassing him? Who would be criminal enough to drug someone?]
[So it's him. He's actually involved with the production's investors. Wow, what a coincidence, all three investors are here. Do they know about this?]
The investors exchanged glances, their faces darkening. Some had genuinely fallen for him, only to learn how vile he really was.
The investors came over to offer her a drink, now that they had seen the truth. Jiang Yu looked puzzled. [Are they going to invest in me? Please don't. I don't want a job!]

[Wow, why is rising star Mei Zili still here? Her freeloading boyfriend is crawling into her rival's bed right now. He's almost got all his clothes off...]
Mei Zili went pale, then claimed she was feeling unwell and left.
She won the breakup battle spectacularly. Later, Mei Zili offered to introduce her to the second female lead role in a xianxia drama, but Jiang Yu turned it down.
[You've got to be kidding. I've got money and free time. I just want to enjoy the gossip, not hang from wires!]

[This is bad. The lead actor in Director Ming's big-budget project is a tax dodger who's under investigation. If they don't replace him soon, the losses will be huge.]
After confirming the news, Director Ming personally invited her to play one of the drama's most compelling characters.
[Lots of money, little work, and make me look beautiful. Otherwise, don't bother asking.]
Director Ming: "...I'll meet all your demands." Hurry up and join the production. Help me check whether anyone else has a problem like this!

Everyone crowded around her, clinking glasses and making small talk, hoping to get a closer look at the gossip. Gradually, she got more and more cameo roles, made more and more friends, and appeared on one variety show after another. Even when she wasn't there, people would bring her up as if she were.
Jiang Yu just wants to be a couch potato and indulge in gossip. How did her career take off?
On a laid-back variety show, she sat by the river, kicking at the water with her toes. The aloof, unruly Best Actor came over. Just as everyone expected him to mock her, he instead stepped in to shield her from the sun.
Everyone: "!!!"
[He's probably the best-looking person I've ever seen.]
The Best Actor smiled.
[It's just that he's a little young. Sister Ling told me that younger is no good. Nothing can be too small, in any respect!]
The Best Actor: "You've got the nerve to try me!"
