Hounded by the Female Lead's Cool, White-Moonlight Love Interest

Qiao Suihuan accidentally transmigrated into a minor villain role in an old-school, melodramatic baihe novel.

In the original story, Qiao Suihuan was an unlucky nobody used by the main villain as a medicinal ingredient. She had an extreme personality and seemed villainous, was disliked by everyone, barely appeared, and was written out early, so her presence in the story was sporadic at best.

Qiao Suihuan hadn't thought much about the character, until the moment she transmigrated into her body.

It was the very night the sacrificial pawn was supposed to die!

Unwilling to die young, Qiao Suihuan begged for help. In the end, she really did change her fate and was saved by Gu Yuehuai, the story's one and only righteous white moonlight.

In the book, Gu Yuehuai was the strongest person in the story, a lofty righteous celestial master and a famously aloof beauty. She looked just as beautiful that night. Moonlight fell on her cool white robes, seeming to bathe her in a hazy glow and make her look even more ethereal and distant.

Qiao Suihuan's bloody handprint stained Gu Yuehuai's robes, and it stained her own heart, too.

She had fallen for Gu Yuehuai.

Her secret love quietly took root and blossomed in her heart, and Qiao Suihuan couldn't help wanting to get closer.

Unfortunately, Gu Yuehuai was cold and unfeeling. After learning how Qiao Suihuan felt, she merely glanced at her and said indifferently, “Sorry, I'm not into women.”

Even in a baihe novel, there are straight women!

Qiao Suihuan was struck like a bolt of lightning, her heart turned to ashes. From then on, she never mentioned her feelings again.

To stop annoying Gu Yuehuai and prove she really had no other feelings for her, Qiao Suihuan started trying to accept the interest other girls showed in her.

Once, twice, three times... Qiao Suihuan hadn't even formed an opinion yet, but Gu Yuehuai, who had once rejected her, was the one who started getting close to her.

After Gu Yuehuai sabotaged her matchmaking for the Nth time, Qiao Suihuan finally snapped. “Celestial Master Gu! Didn't you say you weren't into women?”

Gu Yuehuai, who hadn't realized her own feelings back then, pinned Qiao Suihuan against the wall with one hand. Her eyes were red as she said, “I do like... I do like women. I want to be with a woman... Will you kiss me?”
