Mysterious Lotus Casebook | You'd Laugh at My Loving Heart

Also known as: Red Flames and the Lotus

Mei arrived at the imperial palace and decided the emperor seemed decent enough, so he helped him build the Red Flame Army. Then, because his health was so poor, he went off to the East Sea. Before he died, he met the foolish little lotus, who seemed to recall their past and tried to save him by using his inner power. By a twist of fate, they used poison to counter poison, which also triggered the combined effects of Sorrowful Wind and White Poplar with Yangzhou Slow. The lotus came to his senses and recovered half his inner power, but his hands remained useless, and his lost senses never returned. Mei had no inner power at all, but lived to the end of his natural lifespan.
