A top overachiever at a dessert shop accidentally brings a bakery with her when she travels to a world fifty years after the apocalypse. The devastation caused by natural disasters and humanity's careless waste will eventually send civilization into decline, making everything seem as though it has returned to the past.

No phones, no television, no air conditioning, no Wi-Fi. At last, the overachiever doesn't have to work herself to the bone. Staying in a little wooden cabin in the forest and lazing about all day sounds like a wonderful life.

Then one day, a few children wander into the forest. Su Tian, who still has a kind heart, struggles with the idea before turning her little cabin into a forest apartment. From then on, she becomes the leader of the kids.

Though small, the place has everything it needs. Even in the harsh apocalypse, children have to contribute a share of food. Under Su Tian's lead, everyone at the forest apartment has a clear division of labor and produces things together, making for a comfortable life.

A white-haired boy living alone nearby is gloomy and listless all day, seeing everything as gray. His only pleasure is watching the woman next door, dressed in colorful clothes, go out to gather firewood. She is so lively, so vivid and colorful.

Then one day, she never appeared again, and several little brats had moved into her home. Unable to stand it any longer, he resorted to the same trick as the kids and fainted outside Su Tian's door, successfully infiltrating the group!

And so, when heavy snow sealed the doors, the two of them baked bread and cooked hot pot with the children. They cleared fields in spring, picked vegetables in summer, and stored food for the winter in autumn.

In the barren, deprived apocalypse, they found a quiet corner to live in peace!
