This is a black cat that roams the old alley. It's lazy, clever, spirited, aloof, stingy, and neurotic, but none of that stops everyone from loving it.

It silently watches over this old alley.

It watches over the people who are kind to it.

A wisp of cooking smoke rises from the old house. The old man next door is making dinner, and the black cat knows it's time to go home and eat, too. Before it leaves, it uses magic to conjure a monkey that steals the freshly cooked food.

People are always guessing what cats are thinking. When one lies on a tree, they think it's pondering some profound truth. But really, the cat is just wondering what trick to play on the humans next.

It's a world-famous genius wizard. One careless mistake, and it ended up as a cat. But nobody here can use magic! They're all completely defenseless! Doesn't that mean it can toy with everyone as it pleases?

To the people who are kind to it: This is such a well-behaved, obedient, spirited cat.

To the person who suddenly steps on a banana peel while walking down the street, catches sight of a black shadow as they fall, and yells: "That neurotic cat again!"
